Big Valley Pheasant Ranch, located in North Eastern California, is not only known for great bird hunting, but for its game. The Pheasant Ranch is the home of the Record Big Buck for 2006.,third largest ever in California and second largest since the 1960s.

The ranch, in Lassen County, is approximately 2,000 acres with upland game, waterfowl, predator hunts and Big Bucks.Pit River sloughs run through the property and there are watering holes for that hard working best friend (aka your dog) to drink and cool off. We here at Big Valley Pheasant Ranch feature German Wire Hair Pointers, an excellent versatile breed who loves to hunt upland game, waterfowl and any other hunt our day may lead us to. We raise, breed and train our dogs. So MAKE RESERVATIONS, then come by and say hello to Jake, Atti, Louie, Brandy and Pete.

We strongly invite disabled and handicapped hunters to join us with our automated pheasant launchers for a more controlled hunting experience. This is also great for first timers and old timers! at no extra cost. All war veterans and active military will receive a 10% discount on birds. We currently have (and hoping for more soon) Polaris Ranger six wheel all terrain vehicles available to take you to and from the fields or an all around guided hunt when requested. Excellent Guided waterfowl hunting is offered by our personal Licensed Guide, Dean Vasilakis. What said in the goose blind stays in the goose blind!
